Workplace Counselling (EAP)
If your organisation has an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you can access confidential counselling services that are funded by your employer.
Employers who offer their staff an EAP through People Psychology Brighton are committed to the health and wellbeing of their employees, and understand the value of how happy staff contributes to positivity and productivity in the workplace.
Through counselling, our registered psychologists can assist you with common issues such as depression, dealing with grief and trauma, stress in the workplace, managing conflict, career progression, workplace bullying and sexual harassment.
To find out if your employer offers an EAP through People Psychology Brighton, please contact your HR Department.
Psychological treatments are proven to help people with their issues by helping them to develop better coping skills and change negative patterns of thinking so that they can deal better with life’s conflicts and stresses.
Psychological therapies can help a person to recover and can also prevent issues from reoccurring. Psychological treatments can include Relaxation Skills, Psychoeducation, Psychological Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Inter-Personal Therapy (IPT), Behaviour Therapy, and Hypnosis.
Medicare rebates are available to those who are eligible. Rebates can be paid directly into your bank account when sessions are paid for using cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
