About

Doctor Claudine Martijn has worked predominantly in clinical settings (public and private hospitals) alongside private practice. Claudine is driven to help her clients overcome their psychological struggles to enable them to enjoy a contented and fulfilling life. Claudine engenders a safe and warm dynamic in the therapy space, helping to facilitate the best outcomes for her clients.

Claudine has worked for over 10 years at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry; the Community Mental Health Team (Crisis Team); and Palliative Care at Sacred Heart Health Service.

Subsequent to the many years of her work in the hospital setting, Claudine developed an interest and expertise in Perinatal Mental Health in her private practice, both within Prince of Wales Private Hospital, and external to the hospital in private rooms.

Claudine’s approach is to initially conduct a thorough assessment to arrive at a formulation of the elements that are driving her client’s current difficulties. This formulation becomes the ‘map’ directing therapy. Therapy elements are always evidence-based. Claudine’s approach is collaborative throughout the therapy process, ensuring her clients goals are always at the centre.

Claudine is a highly-skilled professional who can help you overcome your challenges and reach your goals. Please feel free to book an initial consultation with her.
