About
Ray Elliott is a general and organisational psychologist – AHPRA registered and endorsed – with over 26 years experience in general psychology practice. He empathetically engages with clients across the life span. His clients include couples, adolescents and families and adults in diverse contexts.
Applying his extensive experience in working within and alongside community, professional, national and international organizations, Ray especially assists clients and managers at the interface of their workplace and personal lives. He is known for his signature work in coaching for leadership development, and for his founding of the high impact Coaching Psychology Interest Group of the Australian Psychological Society.
Ray has the capacity to establish deeply empathetic relationships with clients. He adopts an eclectic approach to meet the needs of a
diverse range of clients and contexts. He is highly skilled in a range of coaching / counselling modalities: narrative, strengths-based
coaching, cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Where needed he assists clients to interpret
the organisational contexts in which they work – including pathologies and toxic cultures.
