About

Claire Avenell is an experienced psychologist who values working with individuals to identify what meaningful change in their lives looks like for them, along with empowering them to bring about that change. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Claire worked in a variety of organisation types and structures, across the transport, construction, energy and mining industries.

Claire has worked within private practice and not-for-profit mental health organisations as well as the rehabilitation sector to support individuals across a range of mental health problems. Her perspectives stem from a broad range of work and life experiences.

Claire works from a person-centred and judgement-free approach comprising collaboration, empowerment, respect, and valuing each person’s unique experiences.
