About

Kenneth Love is an AHPRA registered psychologist specialising in trauma treatment and recovery and post-trauma growth. He can also help you with a wide range of other emotional and mental health concerns.

Ken is a caring, person centred therapist who places honesty, trust, openness and respect at the centre of his relationship with you; treating you as a unique individual reaching for something better in your life and in the lives of those around you.

He takes a non-pathological view to mental health, which means that he is endlessly curious about the hidden progressive nature of symptoms and the growth potential underlying each of your concerns. This is a journey of self discovery to find new ways of relating to yourself, to others and to the world more generally.

Quality of outcomes and the primacy of the therapeutic relationship will always guide his attempts to get to the heart of the matter.

He is committed to helping you connect to your deeper capacities to build resilience, to meet the challenges in your life and relationships, and to achieve healing and personal growth.

Ken has been providing psychological counselling for over twenty years working primarily with adults across culturally diverse communities (e.g. Aboriginal community), survivors of early childhood sexual abuse, victims of crime including domestic violence and sexual assault, and first responders.
