Samantha Cooper is a warm and compassionate psychologist with more than 20 years experience supporting individuals through challenges. She is passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges, achieve personal growth, and lead fulfilling lives. Samantha aspires to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals feel understood, valued, and equipped with the tools they need to navigate life’s complexities.

With extensive experience in mental healthcare, Samantha has dedicated her career to supporting individuals facing various psychological challenges. Her work spans across multiple settings, including community health, hospital environments, non-government organisations, and private practice, providing her with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in mental health and trauma recovery. She initially worked in domestic violence services in advocacy and support work prior to completing studies in psychology. Through these experiences, Samantha has cultivated a compassionate, evidence-based practice aimed at creating positive, lasting change. She is committed to helping her clients overcome life’s challenges and reach their full potential.

Samantha believes in collaborative and client-centered therapy. She works together with individuals to identify goals, explore solutions, and foster personal insight. She values the collaborative nature of the therapeutic process, recognising that each person is the expert in their own life.
